de·vi·ant Audio pronunciation of "Deviant" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (dv-nt)
adj.
Differing from a norm or from the accepted standards of a society.
n.
One that differs from a norm, especially a person whose behavior and attitudes differ from accepted social standards.
Dictionary.com gave me this definition, Dictionary.com the ultimate resource. Especially for me, because you see, I write. Yes, I do. I may not be good at it, despite what some have said, my writing self esteem is gone. I think I was tramatized back in the fifth grade when my teacher read the story I wrote about Lions who blew bubbles, aloud, and said it was complete rubbish, and I have no talent. Despite my being a non-talented, self loathing, hack. I still write, and I keep writing, it sooths me--makes me feel like I'm on a lazy boy, drinking a martini and partying it up with A-list celebs. Instead of course, I'm in my shitty one bedroom with little critters that crawl up my leg when I'm not looking.
On a side note: I wish I could afford a lazy boy, I'd call it, Daisy. aren't daisies pretty flowers?
How deviant am I? I'm so obscene, I amaze myself! More amazement than when I look in the mirror and think "What, I really look like this? Dayum."
